Information
Information | The Musquodoboit Trailways Association, a nonprofit community organization, was incorporated in October of 1998. Its 41 km of non-motorized trails are managed and maintained for the community and visitors by volunteers. Funding is provided through family & corporate membership fees, donations, Halifax and Provincial grants. MAT members are committed to providing world-class hiking and cycling trails while preserving the ecosystem and wildlife habitats of the area. The association maintains the Musquodboit Trailway, a 15 km recreational trial between the Musquodoboit Harbour Railway Museum and Gibraltar rock. The trailway leads to five additional wilderness trail loops: Admiral Lake Loop, South Granite Ridge, North Granite Ridge, and Gibraltar Rock Loop. |
