Information
| Information | Colchester Recreation provides support services to community organizations, creates and facilitates recreational opportunities (including summer day camps, multi-sport, Step Into Spring, and after school programs for youth), and collaborates with other organizations, agencies and municipalities. Colchester Recreation also provides and maintains several parks and trails in Colchester County including Five Islands Lighthouse Park, Stewiacke River Park, Nelson Memorial Park, Fundy Discovery Site, numerous neighborhood parks and playgrounds, and sections of the Cobequid Trail. We coordinate events including Colchester Bike Week, Colchester Art Acquisition and the Cobequid Trail Run. We loan recreational equipment, including snowshoes, called the Equipment Loan Program.
